THE NUMBER #1 REASON people do not succeed.
Strange as it seems, most people do pretty good at knowing what they want. They may even have a good plan to get it. The problem occurs in the moment they need to take that one critical step that puts them over the top. What happens? Consistently, the focus and energy SHIFTS from moving TOWARD the vision and instead the energy refocuses on AVOIDING what they FEAR.
Not surprisingly the thing feared most is failure! Soooo some sort of procrastination or other self sabotaging antic shows up to make sure failure or embarrassment never occurs. Ironically, this pattern guarantees that SUCCESS in the manifestation of the vision never occurs either.
This cycle breaks the moment you discover that 90% of humanity will put more effort into avoiding what they fear than they will in perusing what they really want.
Singles stay single trying to avoid rejection. Employees stay under compensated avoiding the rejection of a raise or negative feedback on their performance. And even Pastors drive away the very people who can build their church out of fear of competition and comparison.
The remedy? SEE THE PATTERN and push past the fear. Everything you want is on the other side of a courageous choice!

Very true. The problem is identifying those patterns when you are in them which is hard to do because you are in them. It is at this time we need to rely on the Holy Spirit.
“I think I love you … so what am I so afraid of … I’m afraid of what I’m not sure of …?” You speak TRUTH that brings revelation knowledge that reverberates our souls while piercing the darkness of the enemy’s camp!

Unfortunately, this is my life too. I’ve been praying to understand how to overcome this deadly pattern in my life! It is time to Break-thru the barriers of fear and take territory for the Kingdom!! How about if those of you that have gained victory over this pattern of fear pray for those of us struggling with it??:-)

I think, I know you’re right. B4 Dr. Myles Munroe was murdered by satan, I was going after the devil and studying what he had done to my family by reading a book titled “HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE”, to gain some understanding of how to deal with the ememy that has plagued my family for so long. Now, I need to get back the momentum I lost when I heard of the premature death of Dr. Munroe and his wife. I felt they were connected bcause every time I’ve started reading that book, something strange happens……like someone dies that I know or have some knowledge of connection to in some way. Yeah! Your right, Dr. Lance. Fear is a paralyzer; especially when you KNOW the enemy is sending you a message. HELP!!!!
I think we give the enemy way too much attention and credit. That’s like saying God had no say in Myles Monroe death. I’m going to believe God’s timing was in control. Myles Monroe just graduated to a higher level. We give the enemy power in our lives simply because of fear. And if we’re perfecting our love walk, we have no fear, especially of anything the devil might be doing. He’s a liar and the father of lies. We’re of the spirit of love and faith, not fear, dear sister.
