Myles Munroe in one of his last media interviews said…
“I want to challenge every Kenyan to go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard. Die like the Apostle Paul who said I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and I have been poured out like a drink offering. There is nothing left. I am ready to die. That’s how I wanna die because there is nothing else for me left to die.”
“You weren’t born just to live a life and to die, you were born to accomplish something specifically,” he said. “Matter of fact, success is making it to the end of your purpose, that is success. … Success is not just existing, success is making it to the end of why you were born.”
He also discussed the human lifespan and making the most of one’s life.
“The value of life is not in its duration, but in its donation. You are not important because of how long you live, you are important because of how effective you live. And most people are concerned about growing old rather than being effective,” he said in 2003. “The people who have impacted the world didn’t live long. Martin Luther King. John F. Kennedy. These people who impact the world were not old people, but they lived so effectively that we cannot erase them from history.”
BRILLIANT till the end…and even then, being dead he yet is still speaking!

Dr. Munroe had a unique style in bringing the word. He gave the word a life that spoke to the core of one’s being. Anytime I heard Dr.Munroe’s teaching it transformed my life. Thanks for sharing Dr. Wallanau. God Bless.

Lance, I can not thank you enough for your memorial of Dr. Myles Munroe, as has been said, Dr. Munroe was truly one of God’s Generals. I am crushed that he is gone so soon but as has also already been said…not too early and not too late. He remains in our hearts and thoughts and yes Lord yes, may be live lives effectively for the cause of Christ…be life short, or long.

I have lived in intense pain, partially crippled, for a year now and many times, I wanted to die! For I could see no purpose nor reason for me to keep living in this condition. But now…seeing this word from Dr. Munroe, I surely do not want to die but live to proclaim the glory and love of our Lord Jesus! Dr. Munroe expanded my understanding of the Kingdom of God, and made it a very exciting revelation. My whole perspective in life comes from the lenses of the Kingdom that he taught. His teachings changed my life, and for that I am forever grateful. He will be sorely missed…beyond words expression. But what he sees now…is beyond even his expression.

His insight and teaching on creation, and how sin tainted all of God’s creation will remain with me forever, it was full of Wisdom and understanding, it also helps to explain why the world is as it is today, and was done with his customary good humour. He and all those with him on that plane shall surely rise in Christ on the last day…
Dr. Myles was not only an effective teacher, but also an anointed worshiper who could draw the Presence into a gathering.
I feel blessed to have experienced that when he spoke at a Virginia camp meeting. Everybody, who could, hit the floor in reverence. It was amazing!
Unless a seed falls to ground and dies, it cannot produce a harvest. Look out world!
