BRING THE DIALOGUE TO THE SURFACE.
Remember, if you don’t deal with the 1,500 words per minute that you get as an internal dialog of which 80% of it is unconscious, then you don’t know what the enemy is saying to you and you therefore can’t combat it. It’s influencing you whether you’re conscious of it or not. So we know there has to be a level of resistance working in you.
So how do you break through that? You have to begin to have the courage to surface the dialogue. You literally have to have the courage to say to yourself, “You know, I’m just going to take a chance and write what I really, really want to manifest. I want wealth…”
Do you know what bothers me about the Church? It has condemned God given desires as though they were carnal so every time the desire pops up for people, for fame, for influence, for… do you know if you’re a city set on a hill you’re going to have visibility? Has it occurred to you that if you’ve longed, if you want visibility it might not be a sin, it might be a desire that God gave you that you have to sanctify?
So if you can get clear on what you want to get manifest it takes courage because a religious voice will say, “You don’t want that. You want soul winning and revival.” Really, so that’s why Bill Gates has the wealth because he was confusing his desire with a mission field in Africa.
Truth: you have permission to dream about what it is you want to manifest. So get clear about it to the point where it’s painful. Painful like oh gosh if I write that what if it doesn’t happen? And that’s a good place to be. Get it so clear that it’s like oooh what if it doesn’t happen because it is really what you want.
Then the next thing is: what’s coming up inside of you that’s telling you why it won’t happen? Because I guarantee you it’s a lie! It has to be because if it’s the truth that sets you free, it’s a lie that holds you captive.
John 8:32: Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free [NIV].
It’s not the anointing that sets you free, it’s the truth. The truth under the anointing shatters the demonic lie. So you have to know what the lie is.
In summary – write down the internal dialogue, accept that it's okay to dream, and confront any lie with the truth.
