What is true in the earth is true in your mind. The Apostle Paul said that we “cast down imaginations, taking “EVERY thought captive to the knowledge of God.” The Greek language describes a process of bringing each thought into submission as if by a spear.
The idea is that every square inch of our thought life is contested territory and we have authority to take into captivity our internal dialogue and make it line up with what is in agreement with righteousness, peace and joy.
In the classic language of King James, Isaiah says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee”
How often our peace is disturbed because we neglect to interrogate the thoughts that come into our thinking!
