TUNNELS and TERROR and BROKEN DOWN WALLS
I am no alarmist but I do know how to discern the obvious.
When…
Christians and children are being slaughtered by ISIS and an American Journalist is beheaded for publication on social media, at the same time that race riots start to spill over into American cities it starts you wondering. What is being unleashed against us?
Is there a connection? Are there other connections?
Then it hit me like a whack to the side of the prophetic head, that Israel and the United States have a unique spiritual connection.
Israel has been under attack by implacable foes committed to their destruction. One of the Hammas tactics that was exposed is an elaborate underground TUNNEL SYSTEM designed to penetrate and GET INTO Israel's borders to unleash destruction. Money that could have been used for the welfare of the people in building of schools or hospitals was diverted for the construction of multiple tunnels to export terror.
Our BORDER SITUATION with Mexico has been on the news. Masses of people, including vicious CRIME GANGS have been coming over along with a flood of youth. ISIS has been caught communicating with leading Mexican DRUG CARTELS in an effort to coordinate agendas against the United States. Probably leveraging access through our own border.
The ISIS butcher who did the beheading of the American is believed to be a British man. The U.K. has been host to many unhappy Muslim sympathisers. News reports that as many as 100 ISIS trained Brits and US citizens are expected to be working their way into the United States and back to England.
Remembering 9-11 when we were hosting terror cells that plotted our destruction.
Americas lawlessness and rejection of God reminds me of a Proverb of Solomon…
“He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” (Pr 25:28) As we cast off Biblical values our walls collapse.
The only ones who will see this connection are Gods people. Maybe this is a catalyst for us to humble ourselves and pray and turn from our own wicked ways so God can heal our land?
The secular world will laugh at the notion that our nation is experiencing the erosion of its divine protection.
Let us pray that God will use this hour to truly awaken His church and that we shall prevail in rebuilding the walls and restoring the fear of God to a nation asleep to its own perilous condition.
Now is the time we REALLY NEED TO BE WATCHMEN!

What would happen if we just forgave everyone, blessed them and gave them to God? God’s people hate evil, not other people. God allows us to protect ourselves from other’s evil intentions. Prayer is the first resort, not the last. We are allowed standing armies with armor. When we have done all else….we stand – IN VICTORY! Jesus already has given us the victory.
Greater is He that is in us, His set apart ones, than those in the world. After all, God’s innumerable ministering spirits with us outnumber those evil spirits with the world. Where sin abounds, GRACE much more abounds. God is coming for a glorious church. Fear not, be that glorious church filled with prayer, praise, thanksgiving and love.
Pray for revival – that again people would come to know Him by the thousands, mercy for our country and 2 Chronicles 7:14. Pray, too, that God would make His plan through us both individually and corporately abundantly known and that we would boldly go forth.
I did not read all the comments provided but the ones I did read non seemed to mention Fasting. Did Esther not fast to save her nation? I think that serious fasting is needed not just in USA but all around the world. Perhaps set up a fasting chain for a period of time where groups fast for a few days or a week and then the next group takes over. Perhaps get like minded churches in the communities to join and when the one lot of groups has completed their fasting cycle it moves over to the next church and so on and so forth? just a thought. blessings
Yesterday a call went out to all Christians in Australia to join together in Seven Days of Prayer & Fasting starting on Thursday 28 August 2014.

Urgent Call- Seven Days of Prayer and Fasting- 28 August – 3 September 2014
The National Day of Prayer and Fasting team, in cooperation with other National Prayer Ministries and Christian leaders, is calling for Seven Days of Prayer and Fasting from 28 August to 3 September 2014. The foundational verse for this call to prayer is 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The scripture in Joel 2:15-17 as found in the Message Bible is also an inspiration.
Blow the ram’s horn trumpet in Zion! Declare a day of repentance, a holy fast day. Call a public meeting. Get everyone there. Consecrate the congregation. Make sure the elders come, but bring in the children, too, even the nursing babies, even men and women on their honeymoon – interrupt them and get them there. Between Sanctuary entrance and altar, let the priests, GOD’s servants, weep tears of repentance. Let them intercede: “Have mercy, GOD, on your people! Don’t abandon your heritage to contempt. Don’t let the pagans take over and rule them and sneer, ‘And so where is this God of theirs?'”
4 Point Prayer Plan
Pray for an explosion of the Gospel and a sovereign outpouring of the Holy Spirit, with an accompanying revival in the Church to bring transformation to our nation. Only a healed and unified Church can bring healing to a broken and divided community and nation.
Pray for the Christians in Iraq, Syria and the Middle East who are facing severe persecution for their faith. Pray for angelic protection and for the nations of the world to come to their aid.
Pray for protection of the definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Sexual radicals are campaigning for the Coalition government to abandon its election commitment to marriage. Protecting and supporting marriage and the natural family is the best way to protect our children. The issue of the redefinition of marriage, after the issue of abortion and the killing of the innocents, is the biggest social justice issue of our time.
Pray God will raise up men and women with the spirit of Elijah “to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers”. Pray that this Father’s Day, 7 September 2014, we will see a revolution and restoration of fatherhood in Australia.

Father is already showing what to do … each one according to as we have (and continue) to seek Him. Much of what we are to do is revealed individually. In this we “stay in our lane” … Joel’s vision of the army that rushed forth over all the mountains didn’t break rank (meaning the vision of what to do and where to go that that carried them never distracted them into another’s path – yet they all rushed forward in complete cohesion). This is the essence of unity.
We are always right to humble ourselves … continually so that we become like Whom we are beholding. And as we do, we see Him. It’s that simplicity of devotion that will always allow us to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Body as a whole, so that we can speak what we are hearing Him say and do what we see Him doing. An encouraged Body is the only empowered Body that overcomes.
David was known as a man after God’s own heart. So what is on God’s heart? Well, generally saving the lost. But we need more than revival, we need reformation. What are some of the key issues on God’s heart? Some time back He spoke these points to me and we prayed them in our church: abortion, homosexuality, divorce, racial strife, violence, and sectarianism in the church. These point continue as part of my daily prayer.
The story of Jonah and Nineveh is interesting. Nineveh did repent and was spared God’s wrath for 100 years. However, in the end they rejected God and were destroyed. I don’t believe God has wrath for America but rather chastening to draw us back to him. The obvious is that the sooner we repent the lighter the stroke. But regardless, God is a God of justice and there will be a price to be paid for 55 million murdered babies and our nation as a purveyor of perversion around the world.

The scripture that comes to mind is
2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Also Psalm 91 for the people, the children of the Most High God.
We will be protected. If we make Him our refuge Him our dwelling place 10 “No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14″Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him in high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
There is protection for the people of God. His Glory, His covering will protect us as a shield against the enemy as He protects His chosen people of Israel so will He protect those who belong to His fold.

I think as Christians we first need to make sure we are doing our part, that we rule over our spirits, then we can also pray for others, including our nation’s leaders, we need to pray for His kingdom to come first to our hearts, then our homes, churches, neighborhoods, cities, states, countries, the world.
