Just how inquiring minds want to know, itching ears want to hear, and that’s part of the problem! Dr. Lance Wallnau and Mercedes Sparks discuss the differences between the prophetic movements of the 1960s and ‘70s and modern prophetic movements. Prophets judge and that’s exactly what Dr. Lance does in this long-format conversation about the levels of the prophetic. “If you’re so shallow that your faith is overturned by a prophet… you needed the Word, not prophecy!

The testimony two witnesses makes a big difference in confirming prophecy. That’s why the Word says in 1 Cor. 14:29-30 “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. “
Thank you for discussing the prophetic particularly the area of presbytery. I believe the church is missing a powerful element of the prophetic by not using the presbytery to minister to those in the church. I believe it helps clarify ones vision and sets one in the place of their design. Of course, it must happen when someone is prepared and not a brand new belever.
I grew up in Bethesda Missinary Temple in Detroit in the “after glow” of the Latter Rain Revival in the 1960’s and early ’70’s under the ministry of Paster Myrtle Beall and her son Bro. James Beall, as well as Sister Patricia Beall Gruits. It was an exciting time in the Lord. What an annointing on that house! At twelve years old I had been asked to leave the Baptist Church I had grown up in because of being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues and our family started going to Bethesda. What a blessing and depth of the Word. There was a story told by Pastor (Mom) Beall about a morning meeting, perhaps during a convention, which was attended by a professor of Greek from a university in the area. He was not a believer but wanted to visit to see what all the talk was about Bethesda. In the meeting one lady had a message in tongues and another lady across the auditorium gave the intrepretation. Following the meeting the professor found the lady who gave the message in tongues to find out how she learned such perfect classical Greek. It was spoken perfectly and told of the glories of God, it appearenly spoke directly to him without calling him out. The lady’s response was that she had no idea she was speakig Greek and told the man it was the Lord who gave utterance. He then went to the woman who intrepreted and asked her how she learned Greek to give such a perfect intrepretation of the word in tongues. She too told him she did not know it was Greek and told the man it was all given by God. This brought the man to the Lord — he was amazed that God would do such a thing but also was astonished by God’s love for him.
I love listening to your podcasts. (Have you ever considering making your podcasts using your videos? I am driven to distraction when I cannot see your whiteboard and what you are teaching.). I download the podcasts to my iPhone so I can listen as I make my hour commute to and from work. (From Granbury to Fort Worth, Texas), as well as, when I work in the horse barns. You touch so much spiritually and how to apply it to one’s life. Them you get in the political, with a point of view that does not fear monger. I appreciate that you do not tickle the ear but give good meat! Love your team as well. Many blessings. If possible, could you teach more on the prophetic? I am not sure many Christians understand this gift or the office of the prophet or difference. Could you also consider teaching on the five-fold ministry?
May you be greatly blessed. Thank you for how you sow yourself into others. Love your team as well.
Blessings,
