LANCE, I really enjoyed this…I am a people person. I just love them, even though they have used me in my earlier years because I had a big, tender heart and they took advantage of me at times. I would find myself in the early years disserving myself to help others because I saw their needs.

My on the job Performance Appraisal Reviews my boss always gave me high marks for being very adaptable. He found that to be a great strength. I have also found that to be a great strength throughout my now long life.

I have never been afraid of competition….The challenge of competition caused me to rise to each occasion, and I would excel in whatever my task assignment was. I have loved people–still do, but the years have taught me to “look at their eyes” as my mother would say. EYES ARE THE WINDOWS TO A PERSON’S SOUL. I learned to read the eyes—A Real Help.

I never waited to be told what to do when I knew my job—I moved immediately on whatever task was at hand. I was “motivated” by my personality, I guess, and I just got lots of things accomplished.

I never felt like I was puffed up with pride…..Maybe I was, but I did not feel like it….

I have lived with some of the eagle in me….I loved the experience of soaring like the eagle when I completed my tasks and received a ZEAL award for a Job Well Done. I rested and was ready for my next assignment.

At 77, I look back and can see my “shortcomings” but I don’t beat myself up….I just take it all in stride, and Thank GOD for the talents and abilities that HE gave me, because I have always known it was not really me—-It was Really HIM in me that was carrying me so that I could/would excel. (as my Mother reminded me over and over again.

This is a Great teaching and thought-provoking for all who have participated, I am sure. I really loved it…..I had never thought about it until I listened to your teaching. THANKS!!!!!
