WHAT DO YOU SEE?
When you look at the world what do you see? The Millenium is closer now than its has ever been. Before that day there will come a great shaking and nation shall rise against nation. The Lord will intervene and cut the matter short “for the sake of His elect.”
In that day the Lord Himself shall appear “and every eye shall see Him.”
(Lk 21:27) On that day the son of man will be in the company of all the angels and will set upon His “glorious throne.”
What happens next? “Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the SHEEP from the GOATS,”
Jesus will rule and… “will mediate between nations and will settle international disputes. They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore.” (Isa 2:4)
UPDATE YOUR VISION
At that time there shall be positions of kingdom responsibility issued. Perhaps Jesus teaching about rewards being given to the wise servants in the form of rulership over cities, one city, five cities or ten cities was more literal than we think? When He comes His rewards are with Him. The reward is proximity to His throne…and His throne is ruling nations. Proximity is equal to responsibility in administrating as servant rulers of the nations.
