HOW TO NEVER EVER ‘MISS IT' IN GUIDANCE.
It is possible to never make a mistake in guidance. Your spirit man hits the bulls eye 100% of the time. So often after we err we say ” something was telling me not to do that.” That “something” was your spirit.
Most people miss the fact that being “led by the Spirit” means being led by your recreated human spirit. Your spirit is made up of three parts: conscience, intuition and communion.
This is one of the most mind blowing teaching ins the Bible, namely the triune nature of man. Spirit, soul and body.
With our spirit we contact the realm of God.
With our soul (mind, will an emotions) we contact the realm of men.
With our five physical senses we contact the realm of earth.
Being led by the Spirit happens in our spirit – the part of us that is born again and made a dwelling place for the Spirit of God. “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16)
This is what the Bible means when it says “you are the temple of the Holy Ghost” and “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
What we miss is the fact that CONSCIENCE is the voice of the Spirit in our spirit. This is why the Bible warns about those who violate conscience ending up shipwrecked in their faith. The secret is to have a Biblically educated conscience. Insufficient truth leads to lawlessness. Too much truth without corresponding grace leads to legalism. BUT- (and most people miss this) Proverbs tells us that INTEGRITY will be our guide! This is another way of saying – conscience.
This revelation is a basic 101 of spirit soul and Body. if we do not know this we cannot live a christian life and yet this one teaching of spirit soul and Body is missing very much. Thanks for confirming Lance. This is second time some one is breaking it down.
Usually People just say Sprit Soul and Body and . Andrew wommack has one of the best teaching on Spirit Soul and Body.
Body: has 3 parts: Flesh, Bones and Blood.
Spirit has 3 parts: Intuition, conscience and communion
Soul has 3 parts: Mind, will and intellect.

Hi Lance. Thanks for post! So what will be the 5 point plan to walk this all out in our spirit man?
I agree we are spirit, soul and body. I just learned it 6 yrs ago while we lived in Clovis, NM. But for some reason my door from soul to spirit seems to be locked and I can not find the jey, no matter how much I read, pray or listen to good preachers and teachers online. One big question I have is why can’t I hear and know God’s will on which church to call home? My husband seems content at the last and current church. But I want to jeep looking. Until I know in my heart and mind that the Holy Spirit says “Here is your home where I will help you grow with this family.”
Sorry I didn’t check my spelling before posting. I meant to say key not jey. Also keep not jeep. I also have other questions, for Lance or Mark (who’s post I thought I replied to) on hearing the Spirit’s direction. I am 65 yrs old and just learning how to do a reply.
I really do not like being a neigh sayer,
But wouldn’t the concience be the word written on our hearts, therefore renewing our mind. I have practiced alot of religons in the past and this sounds like a cross between tao and the sylvan mind controll method.. but then I guess I am the only one who this brought confusion to. So please don’t attack me everyone.
Hi Kelly, When I read your post and re-read Lances last paragraph, I see Lance saying the same thing as you just wording things a bit different. I would say you added a very important element to the discussion and that would be the conscience (spirit) renewing the mind (soul). This of course is a process that occurs simultaneously with listening to our Biblicaly educated conscience.. And in my experience this trains your mind to allow the spirit to direct us rather than our soul.
I applaud you Kelly for speaking up when it’s enough for everyone to just agree with what was said without pondering and analyzing it through the light of the Word of God.
