I was raised Episcopalian. At a Full Gospel Business Men’s meeting, a minister with a prophetic gift called me “Mishpacha” meaning “My brother” in Jewish, and told me, “God is going to use you to reach your people.” This revelation that I had Jewish ancestry sparked a journey to understand how Jews and Gentiles connect in God's plan, particularly how we, as modern believers, can engage in expanding God’s Kingdom through our everyday lives.
The concept of Ekklesia, introduced by Jesus, describes not just a gathering but a dynamic body of believers acting as a legislative assembly, governing with kingdom authority over their territories. This understanding isn’t just theological; it's a call to action. We're to be both kings and priests—ruling and sanctifying in the areas God has assigned to us.
Today, our world needs the active engagement of every believer to extend the reach of Christ’s Kingdom. Not just in churches, but across all spheres of society. Each of us has a unique part to play, whether in business, government, education, or media. We are called not just to occupy but to actively expand—bringing light to the dark places and establishing the rule of God's love and justice everywhere we go.
