It’s all over the world right now … there is a royal dynasty arising in the kingdom of God.
It’s made up of men and women – like you and I – that have guarded, prayed for, loved, and raised their children with the belief that they will become the leaders of tomorrow.
We have invested our lives in this next generation – but I’m going to tell you – our sons and daughters are facing a fierce onslaught of liberal ideas that are warring for their hearts and minds: from social media to pop culture, from entertainment in Hollywood all the way to the college campuses – they are being assaulted by progressive activist ideals.
Never in history has the environment for young conservatives – especially Christians – been more intolerant and intimidating. To make matters worse, most of us have shielded our children from toxic intellectual attacks and hostility never realizing that in doing so we actually increased their vulnerability! We need to put something into their lives that is going to equip them, strengthen them, and protect them.
I’ve never seen a generation that is more altruistically motivated than the millennial generation. They really are built for cause and community. They care so much about what is sustainable, what is just, what is right, and what is inclusive. All of these are kingdom values but they are unlocked from the word of God – unlocked in the anointing of Jesus and the battle that is happening in the last days. It’s a force that needs to be harnessed for a great awakening.
Psalm 110:3 says, “Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.” I remember years ago, listening to Cambridge scholar Derek Prince say that this verse is a prophetic promise – that in the end-time move of God Jesus is going to have a people come to him, in the day of His power, and it’s going to be anointed youth.
Right now, God has a movement ready for the next generation – the willing and anointed youth will be the volunteers in the Army of God.
