Jesus said, “Go out in teams of two. Whatever house you enter, let your peace come upon it.” Then when they returned, here is their testimony: ““Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” That is a strange thing. Jesus sent the men, He didn’t mention demons, He said peace.
When your peace comes upon someone else, your authority is present to deal with the roots of strife and discord. If people can walk in peace with you and you can walk in peace with each other, you could isolate and deal with the devil. It is when you have strife that you have a problem dealing with the devil, but if you can get unity, you could deal with the demons.
