These are important points. The problem is ultimately not the ‘Philistines’, the ‘Amalekites’ and the like, but the people whom God called and wants to raise up to accomplish His Will. It is because they keep falling into faithlessness that God has a headache. It is for the chosen people to repent and to walk in God’s ways and keep His Statutes. It’s great to have a scapegoat and blame others, but the real fault lies with those who say they believe but do not act.
Christians must unite, come together as Jesus called for, John 17:20-23, and meet at the Capitol, Washington Monument, or that general location, and have a rally supporting President Trump, to restore the failure of the ‘crowd’ at Jesus’ time who chose Barabbas over Jesus. If you do nothing, you are effectively colluding with the establishment, Satan’s side, who want to keep the people ‘enslaved in chains and shackles’ as the Pharaohs enslaved the Hebrews.
God always requires an offering, sometimes small, sometimes big, as God’s Will is dependent on man fulfilling his portion of responsibility. When Abraham didn’t offer up the turtle doves and pigeons, his animal offering was invaded by Satan through the birds of prey, and then Abraham had to make a more difficult offering by being prepared to offer up his son Isaac. Following Abraham’s failure in the first offering God told Abraham his descendants will be sojourners in a foreign land for 400 years, becoming the Hebrew slaves under the Egyptian Pharaohs.
Gen 15:13 Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know of a surety that your descendants will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and will be slaves there, and they will be oppressed for four hundred years”.
Well, our ‘Deliverer’ has come, but don’t be like the Hebrews who complained against Moses after he killed the Egyptian taskmaster (Soleimani) and then they continued to complain in the wilderness.
So faith without works is truly dead, and not faith at all. Abraham was justified by his works:
James 2:18 “Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. 20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead”.
Essentially Christians need to motivate themselves and do something. This is your country to lose, and Jesus will not be impressed by your lack of love for God’s nation, as was the master of he who buried his talents.
Remember Jesus said, “Seek first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you”. This requires us to do something, if we want to be part of God’s Kingdom.
Who were those who recognised Jesus? It wasn’t the Scribes and Pharisees, the religious leaders, the rich and wealthy, it was the meek, the humble, the poor in spirit. Those who were rich in spirit and knowledge couldn’t receive Jesus nor the new revelation, God’s Word from Jesus, and they attacked him.
Today’s Christians also need to be careful, the wise and the learned, the educated and well spoken, because they too may miss the time of their visitation and the new revelation Christ brings at his Second Coming.
Lance is referring a lot to the spoken word or the word. Well what is that word ultimately? It is the Word Christ brings at his Second Coming.
Rev 19:15 “From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron; he will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty”.
The sword is the truth and God’s Word. Furthermore “He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.” “The lawless one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth,” “He shall smite the earth with the ‘rod of his mouth’ (tongue), and with the breath of his lips (words) he shall slay the wicked.” “He who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” Similarly judgment by fire which Jesus came to bring was judgment by the Word.
James 3:6 says, “The tongue is a fire”.
In Luke 12:49 Jesus said, “I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled!”
That being the Word of God kindled in our hearts by practising the Word, so that when Jesus came, the people should have readily recognised Jesus, and received him and what he had to say.
God gave Adam and Eve a Commandment. They were to keep that Word, practise it, and by doing so, they would become the embodiment of the Word, and thus become one with God.
Interestingly God in the Creation process also kept His Word, as He too had to obey His own laws and principles, the Logos He had established for His Creation to function and co-exist, centring on sacrificial love and living for the sake of others.
That is the underlying principle of Creation. God’s love is expressed and manifested in a myriad of ways throughout Creation and is uniquely expressed to and among God’s children through and by unconditional love, the love God has for us as His children.
Remembering that the most fundamental relationship we have with God is the parent child relationship, as Jesus revealed, calling God our Heavenly Father.
In any family there are rules and expectations. The kids don’t just get to lay around the house and not lift a finger to help their parents and say, “I believe in mum and dad, that’s enough”, and somehow they are then justified to do nothing. I don’t think so.
He who is the greatest amongst you is the servant and as Jesus said, “The Messiah came to serve, not to be served”, and as he is our example, then we must follow him as he stated.
Jn 12 “When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them”.
The Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of practising true love and living for the sake of others. “I came to cast fire upon the earth, that it were already kindled”.
Great words to live by however, I believe we should also sacricial love. If it cost Jesus everything he had and he suffered in the process than are we not called to the same mind in God? Unconditional love was birthed in New Age. More than anything, sacrificial love costs us our pride. Hence God will be served
Excellent explanation. I second the suggestion that Christians must do more to support the president. we, sometimes, can be passive. i pray for the mobilization of the Christians and the awakening of the church. I would love to see us flooding the streets and avenues around the nation, calling for unity and support to the President. Wake up America and move!

I don’t completely agree with your comments on the Middle east and China. I wrote a book years ago…totally lead by the Lord. Title “The Freedom Revolution rocking our world” The Lord allowed 9/11 to lead us into the Middle East and breaking up Islam. The number of Muslims coming to Christ is in the millions in Iran, Iraq, Syria, etc. Trump has done exactly what the Lord wanted with the China trade deals. Christianity is booming in China despite what some provinces try to do. China is backing into freedom and is being forced into ethics and Biblical values by Trump’s actions.
