I’ve got some big updates for you on the Bob Jones Super Bowl prophecy, which claims that revival will come if Kansas City wins the Super Bowl. I was watching the game, and I felt the spirit of the Lord, I didn’t want San Francisco to win; I was cheering for Kansas City! The last six minutes were amazing, they came from double digits behind to 24-20 and the quarterback is a Christian who said “you’ve just got to have faith.” That’s the takeaway here, even when it looks like we’re losing, we’ve got to have faith!
The halftime show was about as far from family entertainment as you can get and Michael Brown asked why are we so shocked? This has been going on for a long time. What does that say about our culture, our nation and our morals if that’s the halftime show? Plus, I’ve got another prophecy to tell you about and we need to talk about the Iowa caucus!

The chaos in the disastrous Iowa caucus and the Democrats fighting among themselves, remind me of 2 Chronicles 20:22-23 “As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men of Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Mount Seir, they helped to destroy one another.” Thanks for being one of the singers and praisers going into this election battle, so the Lord can set ambushes and destroy those seeking to take down our nation.
I hope Christians know God has raised up and anointed a present day Cyrus (Isaiah 45), President Trump, to give America an opportunity to revive the Christian influence on our culture, rebuild walls to protect our religious freedom and provide new levels of prosperity to spread the gospel of His kingdom. If not, God will have to raise up unbelievers (stones) to cry out and vote for President Trump. (Luke 19:40)

It really is a sad state of affairs in our country, BUT GOD! CHRISTIANS need a shaking…. and that’s just what God is doing. Let the Redeemed of the LORD, Say so!!!

Lance– Thanks for standing up against the soft-porn SuperBowl halftime show. In our house we watched a half-hour Christian program we had DVRed from TBN. We turned back to the SuperBowl in time to hear the sportscasters praise how great the halftime show was. Sad indeed. And thanks for strongly encouraging Christians to register, be informed and vote. God help this country if Donald Trump is not reelected because Christians are too sanctimonious to “dirty their hands” in our blood-bought freedom to choose our own leaders.

I love hearing your stream of consciousness commentary on political events and am amazed that you can do it without using expletives. The spontaneous humor in your discourse helps me from simply becoming angry at the immoral perpetrators of our times by reminding me that humanity is like dumb sheep that desperately needs a shepherd.
