The uncomfortness with alignment placed there by the Holy Spirit to warn/teach the body of Christ to always check with the Holy Spirit/ Scriptures to prevent being snared/defieled by satan. really good and encouraging , just been listening to Peter Wagner speaking at glory of Zion , He said he told you at first to stop preaching on micro-churches , now he is preaching on it and is glad you are too, this teaching on micro-churches is really helping me because we feel its what god wants us to do and you get put to one side as off track by spiritual leaders of the church in the building, who think you are lost sheep or anti church , and people looking worried at you saying but who is your covering , i find it so confusing when people talk about aliening and very restricting .

Hi – i just want to comment on your “alignment” periscope rant…i first started praying about alignment when the Lord gave me a very clear vision during prayer about the Body of Christ – suddenly i started praying that God would bring the bone cells together, and etc…
Alignment has to do with being in the proper relationships of people in the right location, so that you are functioning in the fulness of who the LORD created you to be in HIS Body….if a person who was created to be a part of the gall bladder is desperately trying to be an eye-cell, they will never feel fulfilled, because they are trying to be something they were not created to be…
…to be content to be a gall-bladder cell, when the people they are in relationship with get to be part of the skin, or part of the eye, or part of something else they think is a function they would rather do, is to find that place of peace in the gifts and callings that the Lord has created for them, and them for..
…to study the actual functions of the organs of the human body is an interesting thing – for instance, the gall bladder’s most significant job is to break down the oils that are ingested into the body, so that they can be absorbed into the body…i have often wondered what happens to churches who no longer have a functioning gall bladder, does the body stop absorbing the anointing?
To seek the Lord and simply ask Him to rightly align us with the people HE has created us to be in relationship with, created us to work with, is to willingly function as who He has created us to be.
It is the love of God in Christ Jesus expressed from one cell to another by the grace, mercy, forgiveness and all the other outpourings of love, through the Blood of Jesus which flows through this grand Body, that holds it all together…gossip, back-biting, etc., all work together to create cancer-like growths within the Body – i remember i had two ladies behind me in a worship service once, and i was having this grand vision of the Body of Christ, and i could feel them talking about me negatively – i asked the Lord about it, and He clearly said, “that is a cancer in my Body – it creates death”….
I believe that alignment as you and others in the Body have understood it is a bit off … i believe they have taken earth-born and earth-bound strategies to try to explain a large spiritual principle that is part of the mysteries of Jesus – alignment as the Lord showed me, in functioning where we were created to function as a part of HIS Body is more what i think God was intending…
The apostle Paul puts it this way –

Unity and Diversity in One Body

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Using the Word rant puts a derogatory slant on every good thing you were trying to express. It is a word of judgement and is tantamount to the rolling of the eyes. This is known in most behavioral health circles as a show of contempt. Consider what I just wrote you when you write your next expression of the wealth that the Lord has invested in you!

Wow, that was great. Thanks! I also like your word on NYC. I live there, and it’s easy to get sucked into saying yes to the way things are done even when we know it’s not God’s heart. There’s such an atmosphere of pressure and conformity like nowhere I’ve ever lived. But since I’ve been here, God’s actually used the time to teach me NOT to conform or feel pressured. I love the way He works 🙂
My husband and I took a huge chance and both quit our jobs to start a landscaping and tree service business within the last 6 months. It has been very scary financially and every day we trust Him for our survival, but we are hanging in there. Your message gives us hope, thanks. GOD BLESS!
I just watched this on Jan 25, 2016. On Alignment: I’m not dependent on anyone’s alignment with me for resources – our church leadership is. But, I see alignment as protection in the spirit realm. I find also that this is a difficult concept to convey because people are not very perceptive about the safety or treachery of the spirit realm in their region for ministry. To me, “alignment” with a five-fold, apostolic ministry, provides way more protection than just doing it on your own. Specifically, I am speaking of intercession for a work/ministry, and ministry such as deliverance for people. Also alignment is more than affiliation. It is “lining up” with a kingdom vision that is being advanced by an apostolic work, and thereby lining up with what God is doing in a region. I find that people do not just “align” with God without being “aligned” somewhere in the natural realm. Frankly, I think of “alignment” as a less offensive word than “submission,” which was overused and abused for a long time. Just sayin…
