How do I let Jesus become Lord of my life, not just saviour?

Just saw your question here. You’re question shows that you are serious about engaging in the consecration necessary to LET Jesus be Lord. I struggle with this question also. Just this week the Holy Spirit has reminded me of this question. So far, I believe I am learning that the path to His Lordship involves the cross. I believe the cross is the path to glory. It was the example Jesus left for us. I am trying to pray more about this to understand more. Thanks for speaking up here.

Watch Robby Dawkins today, Sun 11/15, on FB. Lance showed Chris Reed tonight, which was good, but Robby was much more thrilling in what he had to say today. He and Mario Murillo are usually on what they call ‘Sunday Night Church,’ but today it was just him. It was so thrilling. Last week, Lance’s daughter-in-law, Jamie Lyn, was with Robby, which was also excellent.

Came up with an interesting answer overall. Bottom line? I already knew this…but here it is, “I must put my reliance upon my Heavenly Father instead of on myself. Because I think I can “handle it”, I make poor decisions. Were I to rely upon Him, that probably wouldn’t be an issue in my daily life and I would be living the life I want to be living. (I’m 76) I’ll be working on that!
