I closed my publicsq account after they sent out a notification that they’re going public. As long as it was a private company, I had some hope that it might actually be a decent idea. But now it just looks like another entrepreneur starting a company and getting enough energy behind it so they can dump it in an IPO and make a lot of money for themselves, and who cares what happens to the customers after that. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see it being a truly great business now that the ownership is up for grabs.
