After a recent pact between Erdogan, Putin and Aliyev, another impending “proxy war” war is Turkey/Azerbaijan versus Armenia/Iran over the disputed Zangezur Corridor that borders Southern Armenia and Northern Iran. Turkey and Azerbaijan plan to overtake Christian Armenia for a direct oil access from Baku to Turkey, just as Aliyev recently overtook the ancient Armenian province of Artsakh (aka the autonomous enclave Nagorno-Karabagh).
