I'm coming to you from the East Wing of the White House here in Washington D.C.
Before the midterms, people were talking about “red and blue state waves,” but I knew that there wouldn't be. What we ended up with was what President Lincoln had, a house divided. We're in another civil war, this time it is a spiritual one.
Here's an insight from all of this that I want to share with you. During the civil war, churches in the north preached on how they could strengthen abolition. Churches in the south focused on the sovereignty of states and individuals. But what about the border states? Their message was to stay OUT of politics! How does this translate to our present time?
