Just as I was coming out of high school, our area was hit with recession which saw middle managers, factory workers, truck drivers, restaurant workers and retail take horrific economic drops.
Mechanics, used car resalers, appliance repair techs, plumbers and electricians, general carpentry and concrete workers, welders and businesses such as laundromats, pawn shops and rent-a-centers remained steady.
Micro-loans were unheard of, back then. Yet, many a business was launched by climbing bootstraps.
Developing multiple income streams was the only way I made it through.
Many more that didn’t succeed generally fell by suffering under-funding of just a few hundred dollars.
What was true back then is seen repeating itself, today. The more we can learn from each other to apply to future needs only enhances our contribution to our communities and Kingdom.

Yeah, so I do agree w/ Mercedes that you needed to point out that he isn’t your cousin, Lance, but I trust you so it was kind of Ok except that there was a purpose to calling him that that some of the Bereans aren’t going to get it right away just at a time when we’re pray to the Lord to grow your team!
