Have you experienced “convergence”?
Convergence is when your God-given gifts, talents, and acquired skills integrate with a purpose you feel called to fulfill. Your high points are micro-convergence moments that give clues to your ultimate convergence calling. In other words, your ultimate destiny will resonate with the experiences you had in those micro-convergence moments. These moments become emotional reference points that form your identity. The voltage these moments register in your memory is based on the intensity of the emotional experience itself.
You typically cannot recall the mundane or the trivial moments of your personal history. You can only recall the things that actually registered neurologically in your nervous system, which means that your body, soul, and spirit were all present when it happened.
As you experience life events, you are affected at three levels:
1. Neurologically, your life journey is stored in your physical body.
2. Your soul registers these moments in your memory.
3. Being “renewed in the spirit of your mind” involves your spirit updating your understanding of the truth that sets you free.
All of the high points indicate points of breakthrough. Your micro-convergence moments all lead to your identity. God wants you to have empowering moments in your personal history so that they can shape your confidence in your identity. That’s the essence of what those convergence moments are about. Your high points growing up all feed this process. It’s not that you experienced these moments because God called you to be an actor or baker or a ballplayer. It’s so that your identity can proclaim: “I can; I am able to do something.” The micro-convergence moments are like clues and breadcrumbs leading up to your future. There is a pattern that will emerge, and you just need to look close enough to find it.
A properly processed life journey will show you how God has been at work to redeem you and to form you in His image. You were never alone. And here is the amazing thing about those moments of breakthrough and exploits: If you experienced it once, you can experience it again because in a very real way, it was you that created it. You create your experience. Anything you did once you could do again if you could repeat what you did.
Your low points can shape how you see yourself just as much as the high points do because all highly charged events have a capacity to form an empowered or disempowered identity. If you are not careful, those moments in which God gave you your positive identity will be matched by disempowering moments when there are significant emotional events working to contradict the workmanship God is forming in you to do good works.
Ask the Lord: “In what areas of my life am I setting up agreements? Are there any open doors that are hindering my healing and success?” Why is this important? It’s important because your agreements shape your life.
Let’s agree with God and what He says about us!
This is an excerpt from Lance’s course Unlocking Your Story.

This is SO good! Thank you Lance! I went back down memory lane and discovered some good stuff about me that were empowering moments in my life. I see the bread crumbs that you spoke about and how that I have been writing all my life, but somehow got off track due to all the trauma. Now that I am reflecting back to the good times and positive moments of my life, that were micro convergence moments, I can see what God has been trying to do with me all this time. Thank you for reminding me, Lance, that I’m not alone and never have been. The Lord is always with me even when I can’t track or trace Him.
Thank you lance !
Lance,
This goes along with asking God how He sees you and to give you your Idenity statement.
When you know how God sees you it is liberating and you start with His help to become that person in Christ. Blessings, Elyce
