Super Bowl…

Been watching the Super Bowl. I didn’t really have any sense of meaning behind the game till it occurred to me…
I looked at a quick cutaway to Kansas City and saw a street filled with young faces cheering for their home team. They looked sort of familiar. Isn’t the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City? A great ministry in a not so prosperous part of town. I thought of all those dedicated praying folks. That city would really benefit from a boost.
Now I’m sure both teams have Christians on in the game, but San Francisco has been a sort of rebellious city, hasn’t it? A sanctuary city, resistant to efforts to stem illegal immigration. It’s where Kate Stein was shot, yes? It’s a great city, a beautiful city, with a “mercy” motivation that I think got hijacked. We have great people in both cities, but I think Kansas City needs that shot in the arm.
I’m listening to a video Bob Hartley sent me regarding a prophecy from Bob Jones about revival coming when Kansas City wins a Super Bowl. I think Bob Hartley was present for that word and said the word needs to be explained. I will get the facts and let you know what he heard. Some say he said, “when the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, you will know that revival is about to come. God is raising up His apostolic chiefs.”

  1. Two thoughts that I think you could flesh out:
First, Samson whipped Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey (Democrat mouth?)
Second, when you mentioned Sanders and Biden fighting it out, I thought of the scene in UP when the two old men are fighting, losing dentures, getting stuck in positions and so forth.

  2. Lance–For the first time I am responding to your frequent emails. Spouse Valera tunes in to you regularly via YouTube and told me of Bob Jones’ prophecy about revival’s starting when Kansas City would win the Super Bowl. Well, I was cheering for Kansas City Chiefs as well, for Coach Andy Reid and 24-year-old quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a Christian in demeanor on and off the field. I am not sure I believe in that prophecy. I am from Missouri, the “Show Me” state, and I need more authentication. Please provide as you are able and have the time for this request. Thank you, W. “Jerry” Heydenberk
